Crafting Your Sonic Identity – Drum Workshop by Yadhunandan Nagaraj

Step into an immersive musical experience designed to help you discover, refine, and elevate your unique voice as a drummer. Crafting Your Sonic Identity is a specially curated drum workshop led by acclaimed drummer Yadhunandan Nagaraj, aimed at drummers and rhythm enthusiasts who are serious about developing their sound, technique, and musical expression.

Whether you are a beginner looking to build strong fundamentals or an intermediate/advanced player seeking to break out of creative plateaus, this workshop is structured to offer valuable insights, practical learning, and real-world application.

What is this workshop about?

Every drummer eventually reaches a point where technique alone is not enough. The real question becomes: “What do I sound like?”

This workshop focuses on helping you answer that.

Rather than just teaching patterns or exercises, Yadhunandan will guide you through the deeper aspects of drumming — tone, touch, phrasing, dynamics, and musical identity. You will learn how to move beyond imitation and start building a sound that is uniquely yours.

No matter your level, the goal is to leave you with a clearer direction in your musical journey.

Why this workshop is different

Most drum workshops focus heavily on chops and speed. While those are important, this session goes beyond that.

This is about:

Developing your voice, not just your vocabulary

Learning how to listen, interpret, and respond musically

Understanding how professional drummers think and approach music

You won’t just walk away with exercises—you’ll walk away with a new perspective.
