Block Printing Workshop | World Environment Day

🌿 World Environment Day is an important occasion for every child to learn, connect, and care about our Mother Nature 🌏✨

To celebrate this meaningful day in a creative way, Ayana Outdoors and Ethical Studios are together hosting a special Nature & Wildlife Block Printing Workshop for all age groups above 6 years, especially children, along with parents, friends, and families.

🌿 Block Printing – A Small Introduction

Block printing is one of the oldest traditional art forms in India, believed to have originated more than 2,000 years ago. In this art, beautifully hand-carved wooden blocks are dipped in natural colours and printed on fabric to create creative patterns and designs 🎨

Traditionally used on clothes, bags, and home fabrics, block printing represents Indian culture, craftsmanship, nature, and handmade creativity. Today, it also helps children reconnect with art, imagination, sustainability, and eco-friendly creative learning 🌏✨

Through this workshop, participants can explore traditional block printing inspired by wildlife, forests, flowers, birds, and nature while encouraging creativity, imagination, and environmental awareness 🌿🎨
